Hey all,

Well here is another one of my ideas for a thread. (copied from another forum) These are usually a great thread as they're a nice place to brag a bit as well as give other people ideas of things to do to there Max's...:clapping:

All you do is write about what Mr. Max got done to it today... Could be as simple as an oil change or as complicated as an engine install... People like to know what other people are doing. It's human nature! You can and should also talk about the install or part. Was it money well spent? Was it easy or hard to complete? How many hours to do it?

Anyway... I wish I could start it out with something great but I am still waiting on my rear wheel to get back from Jon at UFO as it was not made correctly and wobbled. I also have a Muscle seat on order so I hope to have it in the next 2-3 weeks as well:punk: Go Sean go...:clapping:

Next...

Gee, figure that! Can't remember the last good thing I heard about Ultra F'd-Up Objects. LOL

Let's see, I sync'd my carbs and raised my needles to 2.5 clips. This weekend, going to put a new rear rotor on my '89. The one I have now has been burnt and warped for a long time now.

Next week, going to order my steering bearings and build or order that adjustment tool.

I have built an adj tool for the steering head, it was pretty easy to do. Want pics?

So far this week

I ordered exhaust gaskets for mine, getting ready to adjust the valves and sync the carbs.
Adjusted floats for about the 9 millionth time before i got them right (thanks Mark).
New battery, getting it ready to pain and polish the scoops/side panels.

I could write a book on what I did in the last month or so.:bang head:

4gasem...

Painting my tail section today...and no, it's not perrywinkle :biglaugh:

Pulled both sets of stock footpegs and replaced them with aluminum units from Cycle One Off.

Unfortunately, it was too cold to go for a ride last night to really try them out (Edmonton, AB, CANADA eh ;) ). Maybe tonight :D

Just got my holeshot cans today.
(Thanks for the quick shipping Chris!)
Took of my old cans, Put the new ones on & fired it up:punk:

Thanks again Chris

LOL... I meant no disrespect by that comment... :rofl_200:

Absolutley none taken! I thought it was funny, because, one of my friends said the same thing when he saw photos last week...he called it pretty lavender!

You're more than welcome... Thank you!

I take that they got there in good condition?:ummm:

Enjoy!

Hmmm, I did everything I wanted to do during the off season, for the most part. Now I just have to do oil changes, check air pressure, gas up and RIDE!

My first oil change this season. Castrol Vtwin motorcycle oil 20W50, swapped out at 2,800 miles. Is that often enough?
