I bet you've read other info on here about checking the gas tank for corrosion, changing the gas filter, you can source one from your local auto parts store, which fits in the OEM location, search on here for exact part #'s. Blow-out the fuel lines, disconnect the line to the fuel pump, then 'blow.' While you're waiting.
Yes, cleaned the tank once and will probably do it again, put a new fuel filter in, blew out the fuel lines, etc.

Dyna 3K flaked out after 20+ years so tuning new Ignitech unit with help from @one2dmax and @Traumahawk. Got that figured out now I have a bloody low beam short that's more complicated due to dual projector lamps/hids and relays. lol

Glad that I could help.

Me personally I have the 90/130 bulb that Sean sells, (although now Sean sells the 100/140) low/high beam. Its a simple swap, and Ive had mine since 2014 with no issues.

Yes, thinking of going back to stock headlight or one with LED's. With all the relays/wiring for the two HID bulbs and the ballasts....it looks like my bride's hair in the morning. I used to run a hotter H4 bulb but seemed they burned out after a year.

Cheers.

when I have to do stuff like that I just fill it in entirely and then drill new holes afterwards,
Didn't occur to me as I was intent on reusing as much of the original pieces as possible.

If you stand 1.73 miles away and squint, it does not appear too bad, but not good either; I wasn't aiming for a concourse finish, just as long as it holds. (could have spent more time smoothing the front).
Location of hole turned out not to be a problem.

Assembled after a long winters nap and running. Took way, way, way too long. Put on about hundred and twenty miles so all fresh fuel in the system.

sorry about some of the repeat pictures for some reason I couldn’t edit them out

Dansvmaxresto and patate657 sound like they're close to enjoying the VBoost. Like the Carly Simon song:

Does anyone know what the plate washer that goes on the bolts that hold the sending unit on are made of? They appear to be a fiber material of some sort. The old washers are shot and the new tank and sending unit did not come with new bolts.
