Hey fellas',
So I made an introductory post saying hi when I got my max, but no real back story about how i ended up on these forums...
So basically my love affair with Yamaha started when I was 16 and found an old XS400 in the local alley. I knocked on the garage and found the owner- who promptly sold it to me for everything I had- $100.
I took it home and got it running, and ended up riding it for years.
Here is what I turned it into.

As the years went by (currently I'm 29, so I've been on streetbikes for 13 years)
I've bought and sold many many bikes.
Most notably (and my favs) were my 1972 Norton commando, and my V65 magna
Also my 2 strokes, a race ready 250, and a custom aprilia rs50 that I took a yz125 engine and custom fit inside! That was FUN!
And my honda everyone thought was a ducati..
Then i got a real ducati which I still have now as my 'show' bike

And of course my Yamaha R1, which I can toss around in the corners like nobody's business.

As for automobiles I currently have a 600hp 5.5l supercharged V8 AMG mercedes.
Here it is hitting 60mph in 3.9 sec. Its even faster now.

So thats what I'm all about.
I always loved the VMAX since I was a kid, and knew I'd own one someday.
I decided to pull the trigger on one because I wanted something softer then the race bike style I'm used to. I'm so glad I did, because it's great fun, plenty of power, and the VMAX community is great- I love these forums!
