I met a Vmax guy today from my area and he has a tank ( size of a red bull can) on the left side of his bike, it has a hose going to his carbs. The can is labled " carb tank " What is it? Can it be removed easy? Thanks for the info.

Isn't that on the California models? Something to do with pollution reduction? :confused2:

Yes, Remove the tank, clamp and hose going to the carb and plug the hole with a rubber nipple. It most likely has the Cali cam's and exhaust pipes too. Not much you can do about those unless youre wealthy.

We have different cams too ??
I didn`t know that.
I pulled the hose going to the #2 carb and plugged it and pulled the canister, then put a bteather on the fumes hose.
will that effect the performance ? :confused2:it seems to run ok.:ummm:
I think this is one for Sean.:punk:

Nah. What you wanna do is paint the canister blue, and apply a NOS sticker. Richwrench can point you in the right direction. You might even fool the Mod Monkey, and it will affect performance - it'll go WAY faster. All in your mind, of course. :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

LOL - that's what I was thinking. Paint it blue & I'll send you an extra NOS sticker. I've caught many people checking out mine, just shaking their heads. One guy told me I was insane to have that much power on a motorcycle...:rofl_200:

I know flatside and vgas run a catch can from the crankcase breather due to no airbox

Naughty, Naughty, Naughty! A little respect is in order here, it is not in your best intersets to underestimate us!!!

We know ALL!!!

HaHaHa Rich got (and still does get) away with it. I shall be devising many more MFDs* to help us all empty our wallets at the gas station rather than the parts store.

We'll settle for that! Our only purpose is to encourage everyone to ride and enjoy their V Max.

After all, have we ever forced our will on an unwilling recipient?

EVER?

That would be cool but, if the cops out here see anything that looks like nitrous, they will wanna take your bike and write you up a big fat one and if he`s nice and listens to your story he will make you remove the sticker.
nitrous is seriously illegal out here for the street.:bang head::damn angry::bang head::confused2::damn angry:
