So. Cal.
49-state carbs have #125 and Cal bikes have #130...what is the difference?

Thanx,
Bud

CA has more stringent pollution laws, so all bikes made for the USA are illegal in CA, and all manufacturers have to make a different spec bike for CA only.

I am fully aware of that since I have been fighting the bureaucratic bullshit for the 50+ years I have resided here but I guess I should have elaborated a bit more. Does anyone know the PHYSICAL differences (if any) between the two.
Thanx,
Bud

Word on the street is they have different cams. 49/Cali.

But some here will disagree, some have compared them.

They do have different numbers when you look them up.

The carbs are slightly different, but are the same size as the 49erz.
One of the Cali carb bodies has a vent tube to a Evap cannister.
And the jets are different as you have discovered.

Dunno about any physical difference other than more weight and less power. That's what those systems usually do, although you get that warm and fuzzy feeling from riding a 'greener' bike. :biglaugh:

LOL!
Being GREEN is the LAST thing I will ever concern myself with. Call me an anti-environmentalist if you wish but if the "greenery" were in the forefront of my thinking processes I'd be texting Greenpeace as I ride bitch in my "Domestic Partner's" Prius whilst sipping a green tea extract double latte' with a hint of Ginko Biloba instead of trying to eek out all I can out of my Japenese two-wheeled rocketship!

Screw that!
I am here to use up my allotment of fossil fuels...save the "Green" for the rest of the liberal Californians. Not me, brother. The governments needs the "green-backs" so they can pay those of us who are owed tax refunds instead of a shallow "I-O-U" delivered with a handshake from our half-Kennedy Governator!:punk:
