a while back I had posted building some frame braces. Well I am in the process of getting a hydraulic tubing bender. Plus I have recently purchased a Vmax frame for mock up or a welding jig. Now I am looking for a cheep way to get a mock up of an engine. The Q is will a early venture engine bolt up to a stock Vmax frame? Also is the Venture engine physically the same shape , size exc. Or does anyone have another cheep way to get a mock up engine or have an engine cheep! I could care less if there were no internals and there was a hole in the block from a rod... I am only looking for the shell of the engine to ensure that the braces , I am going to make will have clearance. Thanks for your imput. Oh I am from southern Idaho, but am presently in eastern Nebraska for a few months .If anyone might be close to either region that would e great Thanks again..

I don't have a motor for ya, but an early venture or the 1300 from 87-93 would be direct bolt and same dimensions for what you need.

i am sure I can come up with some empty cases with crap heads if you are interested. Shipping isn't just real cheap but doeable.

Sean ,
I would be interested either way. I looked and I am straight north of you about 300 miles. In Columbus Nebraska. I looked at my route when I head home. If I headed down to you first then home. It is right at 500 miles out of my way. Depending on shipping costs. You could send it to my biz address which would save some cash 83301. Let me know, oh and I am not in a huge hurry. I won't be home until Feb. I also have all the covers except a stator cover. Thanks Scooter
