A simple thing like running a white helmet will make you much-more visible to traffic. These lighting systems you see on youtube would also help.

Good idea, being seen is important. Lighting up my radiator reflectors made a huge difference.

Riiight! I'm more worried about who is behind me when coming to stop light than anything else. I've been tagged in my trucks several times when some moron is either on the cell phone or under the influence. I'd hate to get hit while I'm riding.
