Wiring My Harlon Shift Light

"Tach Input - From Tach line of the engine computer or the Switched Side of an ignition coil"

Can I tap into the #1 coil RED signal wire for the tach pick-up for the shift light?? Same as I did for my T-Boost signal??

Same here, just put some ring terminals on the cable and you should be good to go.

one thing i did was put the eyehook things on some wire and connected them up with some quick disonnects on the other end. i then connected those and put the quick disconnects coming out near the handlebar lock. then put quick disconnect wires on the shift light side (heat shrunk the whole thing) and that way i don't have to tear the whole thing apart in the future. also my wires weren't long enough to reach, not sure why he just doesn't include like 2' long wires instead of the 1' or whatever.

Yes on the wire's.. why so short..:ummm: Any good idea's on a better way to
mount it. I got his rubber coated clamp, kinda cheezee!!.. yet i can't see
spending $65 on a billet mount for a $50 shift light. was thinking there should be some kind of mag-lite mount out there?? Any ideas with pic's
would be great.

I Velcroed mine to the side of the spedo, works great. If you Vsearch Harlen shift light you can see what it looks like, I posted pics before. Cheap and easy and looks fine.

That's easy to do. I was going to make a custom bracket but maybe i'll try that first. It's light enough.......

I had mine velcroed for a while but wanted a billet mount so that's what I have. If you follow this link there are some mounts (2 sizes) and vinyl covers. The description say that the covers block 60% of the light which I though would be too much, so I didn't get them.
