On this Kawasaki S2 trike? It looks pretty-dangerous to me. I had an H1 (500 triple two-stroke for you whippersnappers) that was adventurous-enough. This engine is the 'little brother' to the H1, but I'm sure that anyone who has the nerve to run this to redline, will have a ride like a worn-out 'Wild Mouse' rollercoaster. Please note the spool front hub! "Death wish!"

I went on a 'Wild Mouse' many, many years ago and never quite got over the sheer terror that ride produces....this bike/trike/whatever the hell it is looks to have those same properties!

Not only is it incredibly dangerous looking I'm sure it has the cushiony suspension of a medium sized boulder! :biglaugh:

I always enjoyed the wild mouse at Idlewild park. I guess I'd give that trike a try. Would be nice if it had some fenders over the rear wheels!

Obviously this ride isn't anything you're going to tour America on. And the suspension probably comes from running 18 psi in the slicks and whatever boingy-boingy 'control & comfort' the front springer provides.

One of my fire-rescue co-workers had a Cobra small-block Chevy V-8 trike, and it didn't run fenders. It had a bench seat, and really-wide tires on the rear axle. The steering was a Sportster front end w/l-o-n-g tiller-style handlebars & a disc brake. He used to drive it to work all the time.

One day when he was riding his Cobra w/a friend, the friend had been drinking. Unfortunately, the friend made the mistake of allowing his foot to wander from the floorboard area to the vicinity of the rear tire, he made contact w/it, and was immediately pulled out of the seat under the wheel/tire, and was killed. Jacques stopped riding the bike after that, for a long time. :confused2:

Cool "show piece ". I remember as a kid seeing a lot of home built trikes. They were about the same calibre.....unsafe at any speed. Good post.!

I rode that wild mouse at the VA. State Fair back in the 60s . Scared the S**T out of me. Swore I would never ride it again. That same week one of the cars ran off the track & killed somebody.

Is it me, or are the brakes (back wheel only) operated by an electrical-tape-wrapped bar??!!???

remember....suhayfty furst?????

nice short wheelbase too - reminds me of how stable the first offroad "trikes" were.....

I would ride it around a parking lot just to hear the sweet music of the 2 stroke, it would sate my inner 2 stroke whore for a week or two. I guess if one were to get on that thing and ride it down the street he had better be careful not to get his onions tangled up between a rear tire and the frame. My guess is inadequate storage space for the nards it would take to sport that thing around in traffic.
