Here is an article from one of the end of the website links, which I found very entertaining. People write in & post memories of the old dealers, the 'mom & pop' shops, and their recollections of the coming of the inline 4's, the dawn of the 2-stroke Honda Elsinores, hot 2-stroke streetbikes, hot 2-stroke dual-purpose and dirtbikes, etc.
I know guys in their 50's & older will appreciate reading these stories and will think-back to their own memories of similar times. It makes me glad I got a Superhawk this past year, and I don't mean a V-twin! Plus, I have Yamaha 2-stroke dirtbikes in the 250 & 360 flavors, sitting, awaiting restoration.
Read the stories and post-up some of your recollections here, so we all may enjoy them. :biglaugh:
