Watch these old ads, probably from pre-1965, because I didn't hear them mention the CB 450 but they do mention the 305 Superhawk.

Great shots of San Francisco, there's Alioto's Restaurant and market on Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard St., of-course the Golden Gate Bridge (commuting from Marin Co. to San Francisco across it is featured) and other Victorian home neighborhoods. I'm guessing there may be some scenes of the Marin Headlands from the shots.

Back then I lusted after a Bridgestone 175 Hurricane Twin, and learned how to ride a bike on an older brother's C110 Honda. I first rode offroad on a Bultaco Campera, 175 cc. Schoolmates of ours owned a successful British and Spanish motorcycle dealership. Even the girls in the family rode to school on BSA's! Maybe that's why I've always admired the "power egg" unit-construction A65 650 BSA's! Back then, the BSA Hornet was a hot ride.

And here's an ad from "the wild side," where "the nicest people" weren't expected to be...
