The Thin pan mold is installed on the bike and form poured on top
Those Bondo master molds are used to get the first thin pan.When pan proves out the master mold needs to be turned into a stronger fiber glass mold
After you get the desired shape for your pan/pans , they need to be carefully removed from the bike

I was lucky with the gen I , I had a spare frame.
This will become the master for the pan mold.
