Bogs at low end after carb rebuild

The vinegar method maybe cheaper and easier for rust in this case. I used it in my heavily rusted tank it was shiny metal when I emptied it out. Then a few TSP rinses and Caldwell sealer. It's good stuff. Actually advertises that it repairs POR-15 and Creem uhoh's.

Thanks. I love my garage but that's actually a freezer for keeping veggies and wildlife. Fridge isn't too far away though. No it doesn't. I have a couple tag lights with built in LED's but haven't put them on yet. I'll wait until the fuzz harrasses me before I put them on. I've...

Long time, no update. But the bike has come along nicely since the previous one. I got a the CBR tail light installed and fabbed a tag bracket and got all that on as well. I rebuilt all the calipers and also the slave cylinder. All that works like brand new. I had the...

    Blinker suggestions

10-4. This thing hasn't moved under it's own power since 1998. When I verify she's going to go, tires will be bought. Actually been reading reviews today. Good reviews on the metz's and the michelin. Anyone here have the Michelin?

    Blinker suggestions

Not too concerned with the LED's yet. I have resistors, but haven't got them wired in yet. I installed the CBR tail light the other day and it's led. Love the way it looks btw. Just looking for a better alternative to the ugly fronts. I like the first ones posted from EBay. No reisistors...

    Blinker suggestions

What are you guys using for front blinkers other than OEM? I have the OEM's but they are in pretty poor shape. Looking for a cheap, good looking alternative. LED would be fine. Can you use something like a flush mount signal up there on that bracket? thanks,

That looks familiar. Scared the crap out of me too. Hence me cutting the thing off. Regarding the rectifier, looking at all the threads that pop up with a search. Options look like 04-06 R1 rectifier. What about the earlier, slimmer ones? Also what about a replacement in stock...

...And yes. I lubed the cylinders 3 times prior to starting it up. All a few days apart.

More pictures to come. The R/R never caught fire, and I knew if it was smoking, it was done anyway. So I just cut it off. Lesson learned if my ground was the issue. I was hoping just the frame contact was enough. Things awaiting repair: All the master cylinders and brake calipers. They...

UPDATE!!!! It's been a long 3 weeks with work, family, vacations, and such but I've managed to get through them. Along the way, I've been making steady progress on the bike. I managed to get the carbs off and sent to Dannymax for a rebuild. I tell you, if you need your carbs done, he's the...

V-boost not cycling - Servo acting strange - VIDEO

Found the problem. Got the servo out and wired it up again. It was not jumping, but it was the shaft was pulsing. I opened up the servo and knew what I was going to find. Plastic teeth everywhere. It's stripped. Anyone got a good working servo?
