    '06 or '07 Vnax Wallpaper

I had an '06 Vmax wallpaper on my computer that i got from the Yamaha website back in '06. I lost it and now I can't find it on the internet. Did anyone download and keep it that they could send me or post up here? Maybe someone knows where I can find the wallpapers on the internet? Thanks.

How firm is your rear brake pedal?

I've been dealing with rear brakes issues for awhile now. When I bought my '06 new, the rear brake pedal was pretty firm when I applied the brake. With 12,000 miles on the bike now, the pedal started getting softer and traveling farther when I apply the brakes. I put on new EBC HH pads and have...

    Shrink Wrapping a Trailered Bike?

I'm flying up to Sturgis for my first ever Sturgis Bike Rally. My bike, and six others, are going to be trailered up to Sturgis from Atlanta, GA. As it stands now, the trailer we are going to use is an open flat bed with no front wall nose or side walls. I have been told that trailering bikes...

    Sturgis

I will be in Sturgis this summer for the entire week. I'm flying up from Georgia with several buddies and three other buddies are trailering all of the bikes. Mine is the only Vmax. We're camping out, just not sure which one right now. Two of the guys going have been doing this now for ten plus...

    Rear Brake Pedal Travel

Prior to installing EBC HH brake pads front and rear I noticed that my rear brake pedal travelled down farther than what I remember it doing. However, I don't remember how far it travelled before. So I changed the brake pads (front was squelling anyway) and bled all of the lines with new fluid...

Replace one or both fork seals?

'06 with 11,000 miles. I'm taking it to the dealership today to replace a leaking fork seal on the right side. The left side is fine. Should I have them do both anyways since it's there or is it if it ain't broke, don't fix it?

Added EBC Brake Pads, Fork Leaks Now

Well, I added the EBC HH brake pads front and rear. There is a very noticable difference in braking power now. However, the very same day I adDed the pads and tried it out, I noticed oil on my right fork that was left behind as the fork moved up and down from braking. I try to have at least...

American Diabeties Association in ATL, GA

I wanted to post this earlier, just ran out of time. The American Diabeties Association had its annual ride today in Atlanta, GA. There were over 400 motorcycles in the ride. Hooters hosted the event. The boys in blue motorcycle brigade guided the ride. It was awesome! Believe it or not, out of...

    OEM Fly Screen

I bought the OEM fly screen from an online vender. It arrived today and I just installed it tonight. If you are anal like I am about perfect alignment, it ain't. Close enough though. Also, you have to loosen the turn signal indicators to get the fly screen over the threaded bolt and aligned with...

    Battery Tender Plus

Almost forgot, I also bought and installed a Battery Tender Plus on my stock battery. Easy to do. Takes a little time to get things moved around for a tight fit but it all works out. Be prepared for the battery to "fume" or gurgle/bubble at first. It was news to me but others have said it is...

    Outlaw Fan Switch

I've been buying stuff for my '06. Bought the fan switch. It works like it is supposed to. My '06 had the 24mm switch which was a pain to remove and I had to get a socket. The instructions tell you to use a boxed end, which doesn't fit. I had to use a deep socket and it worked fine. Definitely...

    Cycleoneoff Oil Pressure Gauge

Bought and installed the Cycleoneoff oil pressure gaurge that attaches to the water pump housing. Love it. Works perfect. Hard to read when doing 120mph :) Maybe should have nought the handle mounted version. Would buy it and install it all over again though.

Black Widow M/C Ramp for Pick-trucks

I bought the Black Widow Bike ramp for my F250 2WD. It's heavy and bulky. The black paint chips easily. Pain to carry in the truck when going from one place to the next. It works though and I'd buy it all over again. Couldn't find anything better.
