My Vmax has sat for a number of years and I need to go through the carbs. It's starts and idles poorly, but that is about it. It spits and stalls if you try to ride it. Where can I buy a rebuild kit with high quality parts? Any input would be appreciated.

I didn't know you could anodize steel, but I was just looking for something close to paint the rear one.

Does anyone know of a paint that closely matches the gold center of '98 front rotors? Nothing I've seen in the local hardware or box stores is even close. TIA

Thanks for the info. Seems like every system I like is either out of production or takes away power. As far as the wheels go, I'd give a lot for a set of spokes on mine.

Can't seem to find an answer to this, but is there any functional difference in the factory front wheels? I like the way the 85's look, but I wouldn't want one if it is heavier or weaker.

I've had both generations and my personal opinion is the gen 2 seat is one of the most comfortable I've ever ridden on, where the gen 1 is one of the worst. That said, my gen 2 would roll about 80 miles before having to stop for gas. If you're going to stop that often, it doesn't matter all...
