When will the quest for pure speed stop? Jet engines with after burners, next. I hear the electrics accelerate incredible too. This v8 model looks well designed. They tucked the engine in nice. I don't suspect there will be test rides allowed soon.

NEVER!!

Speed is nothing without control.. I wonder how well it handles.
I like that is not the crotch rocket style.

Same Bore and stroke as the 2004 through 2008 R1. 5 valve heads. About twice the power.

Seems there's more than a little Yamaha DNA in "the world's most powerful production bike".

Search Allen Millyard v8

"Never mind!"

Here are some of his offerings, some similar, some not.

I'll see your "two litre," and raise you... "Three!" That would be... "Five Litres to you:" http://thekneeslider.com/allen-millyard-builds-a-5-liter-v-twin/

(Also see Lucky Keizer's 5 litre V-Twin made from a Rolls Royce aviation engine)

Six, eight, ten, twelve, pistons are sexy!

The PGM does sound a bit like the Formula 1 Honda V-12 1-1/2 litre (!) from 1965, which I saw race at Watkins Glen in the F1 race then, Richie Ginther was one of the factory drivers for them (below), Ronnie Bucknum was the other.

Fifty years later and it makes my hair stand up on end and gives me goosebumps (or 'chilliblains,' depending on what part of the southern USA you're in)

Looks like 2 YamahaR1/FZ1 motors merged together.

Crazy.
