I don't know who is more sorry about the distance, you or I! Tried to price it fairly, and I think it's about right, but as most people have said the market seems to be soft. May need to wait 6 months but by then I will probably put it back up to $3500.

The taillight was in its current location when I purchased the bike, I was unaware that it was not the stock location. I agree it does put the plate in a better position and shortens the rear end. I am considering an LED conversion back there to make it even brighter/more noticeable.

Sounds good to me, should be getting the bike back very soon, but I think it will be close. And FYI, the aftermarket exhaust rules only applies to bikes manufactured after 2013, had a long discussion about this on another forum.

So it looks like it was the regulator/rectifier all along. And the replacement I got from the Kawi was shot too. Polo said when it dies, if it sits long enough, it has enough juice to start again, that's why it was confusing me.

Re: Gen I, Further Parts Offering??? I would REALLY like to see some simple inserts for the radiators that install in-place of the reflectors. Just an easy rectangular piece of CF with 3M backing. Would be dead simple to make and an easy/nice touch up.

I like the way your exhausts turn up; that is after a six inch cut?! I can't imagine how long it looked before. Looks like your radiator is push/pull?

Finally got my masters in, same as the OP, ZX14R Nissins. The previous owner switched to Brembos, so these things are in mint conditions. Just need to slap them on and bleed now. If anyone is considering going this route, check out zxforums.com, troll the classified sections, I saw three...

Your best bet would be to buy Hayabusa master cylinders and the levers. I think that would be cheaper that cutting/welding/chroming the levers to our levers. PM me if you want some custom cut levers, I do CAD work and we have some HAAS CNC machines, so we could get it done here. But not for cheap.

HELP! Got a Replacement rectifier from a 2007 ZX6R, one of the newer MOSFET types, FH016AA for super cheap. The problem is it has three wires, two are obviously power and ground, but one has me dumbfounded. See pictures. Black with blue tracer, black with white chaser, and one really small one...

So you replaced the R/R with a MOSFET type and still had some problems? I was having high hopes for this upgrade but not for much longer. Do you have a link or address for the newer part you are using? Somewhere besides eBay?
