    What is that part?

    Hi guys, There is a part on my 93 Vmax, on the bottom of the right side of the engine, on the left of the oil level check window, that I think is non-stock and replaces a simple cap. Here is a picture: Does anybody have an idea of what it is and what this is for? :ummm:

    Hi bazwell, Thanks for the advice, I have just repacked it, it is better but still too loud. I would like to keep the pipes and the 4 in 1 for sure, but I would have to find a compatible muffler, and find it used (I will go for the cheapest solution). I am also considering changing the baffle...

    Broken Pinion Shaft....What now?

    Ok I will try to check it by myself first, if it is loose I will go to Yamaha for adjustment, if it is broken I will look for a new diff... Thanks guys!

    Broken Pinion Shaft....What now?

    I have the grinding sound you are describing when decelerating so I think I should check that nut, but I am not sure about where to find it and how to access it: Should I remove the rear wheel and look on the shaft side? Ed
