8.5 litre tank

Was on the net last night just searching thru the japanese website that i got my Max from and came across this . A 8.5 litre tank which would give you a 23.5 litre total .
It was going at auction , think it was priced at 120000 yen .

I can only imagine how much that fugly thing would raise the COG...turns would become a nightmare. Might be a good tank to throw on for a long, straight trip with lots of distance between gas stations. I think I'd prefer the aux tank that replaces the passenger seat instead, like the one Bob Novie has.

I would paint it green then it would look just like a turtle shell. Where do you people live to where you dont have a gas station within 120 miles of each other?

All ya have to do now is figure out a place to mount a spare tire and you will be set for the baja500
