Anyone out there ever watch the TV show "Classic Car Rescue"? Typical car show, they find a car in need of TLC, fix it up, then get an appraisal to determine if they made a profit. Kinda like "Wheeler Dealers"...
The head mechanic on the show is a guy named Bernie Fineman. He is a real character, and is the high point of the show.
I'm a fan of the show, and dropped him a line of Facebook. He immediately answered, and we became Facebook Friends. He turned out to be a really cool guy.
Tomorrow, he is going under the knife to have a cancerous lung removed. He's gone through Hell the last 6 months, and this may be his last hope.
If you've seen the show, you know who I'm talking about here. If not, he could still use a positive thought or prayer. I'm sure he will appreciate it.
