Cannot locate Factory frame codes

guys,
i am sure i have seen it somewhere but i am trying to locate a VIN code register which will explain the history of my bike te new eg; intended market, year of manufacture etc, it is a 2006 registered bike. Sorry if its a pian but no amount of searching seems to turn up a result but sure I have seen this somewhere???

Hello,

If you look at the frame steering neck, it should be stamped on the front and also have a label there too. This site should decode your serial number too for you:

thanks, good link, I was also after translating the VIN code to check the intended market, ie,canada, calif, euro etc whichI thought could be gained from the code???

I seem to be able to learn where and when it was built / assembled etc, is there any way to learn if my bike was intended for a euro/usa or canada market?

Wasnt after a free service bud, got history of bike etc and just understood the Japs manufactured these to different specs for different markets.
