Cross country routes and places suggestions

Planning for next year - the red markers and orange lines. Start from Seattle, to Ontario. Unfortunately I can't make it now to the Death Valley. I think it is probably better to split the trip into two maybe? Leave the Death Valley for fall next year, and do the rest in summer. Problem is with for example the Crater Lake in Oregon having snow still even in June. And for sure in March/April, when it would be a good time for the Death Valley, the Grand Canyon etc.
The way back would be more South, hitting all the South States maybe.

Any suggestions?

Well, if you come to the South you have to hit the Texas Hill Country. It is west of San Antonio and Austin. Lot's of great roads to enjoy
