Well, i charged the battery up to 11.8 volts(mfgrs instruction) with a sears 6amp 12 volt charger. Battery has been fine since charging it. I also continued to use my battery minder after the charge.
i did contact oddyssey and they said battery should be OK since it hadnt sat dead for a long period of time.
all is good so far.
