on the set of Dunlop 491 Elite II tires that I put on my 2001 V-Max. I got 16,000 on these tires! The front tire will go a little further, but I'm going to get them both changed together. The rear tire is slick! No real handling problems with these tires either. I get along fine with these tires when dealing with "The Dragon" at Deal's Gap. I can easily scrap w/o losing traction. I'm going to replace the Elite II tires with Elite III tires. In another 15,000 miles, I'll report back! :th_image003:
