I could be wrong, but I don't think Haltech makes the E8 anymore. It looks like the E6X is about the replacement model. How about using the F10X for the budget minded kits. It doesn't control ignition but it is much cheaper. Just a thought.
 
Haltech does still make the E8. The E6X is simmilar but with less outputs(can't control sequential injection and ignition on a 4cyl). The F10X is a programmable replacement ECU. Just replaces the factory ECU on a vehicle thats already running OEM EFI. Won't work for us...
