Icon Merc Shorty Gloves

I have been a big supporter of Icon products over the years and have given them a great deal of my money. I have also defended their quality to others who have bitched about them. Around 2 years ago I purchased a set of the Merc Shorty gloves from a local shop. Today the pull to tighten the gloves snapped off into my hand. These are $80 gloves that use a cheap plastic pull to tighten up on the wrist. As they are $80 gloves I have treated them quite well, and do not believe that I have abused them in any way. I doubt there is any warranty on them once you leave the door, but I emailed Icon anyways. Unless Icon makes it right, I doubt I could ever buy another one of their products.

I'm also an Icon product fan, I'm still wearing it.
Never got issues, maybe you just got bad luck.

Here's your chance to be creative.
Cut the other one off and braid up 2 new tabs from a black leather lace.
That does suck that it broke, but it's a simple fix.
It's been 2 years....how long should the warranty be on gloves be?
That's not worth the aggravation, IMO!

I definitely would not expect a problem with a pair of $80 gloves. I have cheaper pair of Icon gloves with the same tab and use them for riding and paintball and haven't had any problems.

I almost spent $80 on the joe rocket gloves, man they look nice!!
