I 'm guessing you guys got some cashola tied up in your expression on flesh. I'm a clean canvas and my cash goes to a monkey. Some nice work though. Definitely not for me.

Yeah it can be expensive, and addicting. Most average hourly rates are around $125 an hour for a good artist.

Figure most ink you see is around $250-350 for a 5x7 area. Full sleeves around $1000-1500 or more etc.... so yes you can have some money tied up.

Tat needles arent bad at all. The trick for a good first experience is to do something simple or smaller on a part of the body thats not too bitey. It also helps to go to a high quality shop. Youll pay more but youll get a great tat and in most cases, itll will sting less too.

Also, location is important on how much it stings. I found that one of the least sensative spots (for me, at least) is on the upper arm/deltoid region.

Thanks guys. Next round will be the mad scientists beer lab on the other side of my forearm. I should be putting my tat money into my bike, but the mod monkey said i needed some new "paint" to go with all thats done to my bike, lol.
