Well I hated the factory colors on my virago, so I fixed it. I had some Teal base coat clear from my harley. 2coats base,..3 coats clear. Before and after pics below.:biglaugh:

I dig that blue, looks far better than before imo.
Did you do all the prep by yourself too ?

I Love the paint work. so much nicer than the factory job....:biglaugh:

I had an XJ-1100 Yamaha that I did in Teal Metallic years ago. I really miss that bike. I think it was nearly as fast as the Max...
 
Very nice!

Noticed you painted the swingarm too......nice detail..

The swing arm was silver and had factory stickers on it. I figured I'd tie it all together by adding color to the arm as well. 1 1/2 days...start to finish. Could of easily had it done in 1 ,but the white stripes on the bike turned out to be giant stickers with clear coat over them! What a job getting all that glue off.:bang head:
 
Looks great! , got a few xv's kicking around in various states here and they are pretty good fun....apart from the "Starter" issues lol.
