If I pull my wires off the coils and noticed some green corrosion, can I simply trim the wire and reinstall? Is it that simple?:ummm:

As long as they're long enough!

A little dielectric grease goes a long way to keeping this from happening.

LOL, you have a knack for stating the obvious! Where were you on Saturday when I was dropping mixtures screws down into my bike or blowing them out across the shed? :rofl_200:

Electrical contact cleaner will take the green stuff right off so maybe you won't need to trim. I'm talking about plug wires not something else. :biglaugh:

I've found that on forums you HAVE to state the obvious.

So many rookies out there ya know.

Hahaha, I'm one of those rookies, and I appreciate the frankness! :clapping:
I just spent the weekend cleaning my carbs, had it not been for this forum and the write-ups, I would have had to take it to a shop!!
