Due to circumstances beyond my control, I might have to leave my Vmax outside when I'm up in Minnesota. Neither of them have seen much. Been at least 2 years for the custom and over 20 for my stock.

Can anyone recommend a brand or style of cover they have had good luck with? The bike wont be on a open trailer, but I'm concerned with the fender paint and the cover moving on them in the wind.

If a dust cover would work (not in the dew/ rain) you might try this: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/13/117/36886/ITEM/Show-Chrome-Ultragard-Dust-Cover.aspx
If you need something rainproof try something like this: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/13/117/1425/ITEM/Nelson-Rigg-Deluxe-All-Season-Cover.aspx
You may want to put some painters tape on the possible rub spots if it will be in a windy location (like a carport). Do not cinch the cover down super tight creating tension rub spots.

Thanks!

I use oxford rainex or stormex.
The best covers ever. Waterproof, thick with a soft liner instead.
I have been using that for years.since i dont have garage

Those are nice. You usually get what you pay for. Does a medium size fit, or large?

I think i got the biggest. It fully covers the vmax. Ill check later and confirm just to be sure.

They are not cheap but nothing to compare in term of quality. Weather here is extremely hot and humid and it does perfectly the job.
