Just got through painting wheels in the swing arm. Polishing the scoops and the side covers. And had the bodywork wrapped in red metallic. Pretty pleased with it so far!
Thank youLooks awesome
When I bought the bike it had one of those big tall touring windshields on it. I cut it down to the one you see now I love it! Nocks just enough off your chest at 140 to be effective.Looks great. What windscreen do you have on the bike?
If you don't mind, could you post a couple pictures of from the front? When I bought the bike it had one of those big tall touring windshields on it. I cut it down to the one you see now I love it! Nocks just enough off your chest at 140 to be effective.
Well, I guess I could claim to have sanded them down and polish them myself lol but I sent them out to a polishing shop in Daytona Beach. The gentleman does a beautiful job and has been around for many years. It was a grand total of $150.Looks great. What is the process in polishing the scoops? Did you remove them & send them to someone like a chrome shop or did you do it yourself? I believe the scoops are clear coated so does that original coating have to be removed then a clear coat reapplied after polishing to keep them looking good?

I believe the polished scoops add approximately 15 hp! LOLCan you tell if it's faster with the polish? Looks good!
