And they're off, one of my favorite races. A beautiful track, fast and venerable, home to wins by Fangio, Gurney, Clark, Schumacher, Senna, and others. The course rewards speed. The Sauber is smoking! Crash at the beginning!

Hamilton is out! Alonso is out! But OK. Big accident on the 1st turn! The Lotus made wheel overlap w/Red Bull & launched into the air!A tough break for two of the race winners this year. And there was a VMax in the Star motorcycles commercial, doing a smoky burnout.
That crash must-have been a multi-million dollar crash, what-with I think it was four cars taken-out. Fractions of a second difference and we could have had possible multiple fatalities. Thank-God that wasn't the case.
