Spark plug caps and wires - where to source

Hi, my first submission so greetings all, but a question as well.

is there a cheaper non OEM source for plug wires (preferably locally in South Africa).
If I do find wires and caps that fit and look ok visually, could their specs. be incorrect? i.e. ohms,etc. What must I be looking for?

Please forgive me if i'm asking stupid questions, but i don't know if plug wires are normal copper, if they have supression coils internally in the caps, carbon content, etc.

Standard copper core wire. Resistor boots. Can't remember what the value is on the boots. Maybe someone else here can chime in with the proper info.

NGK boots are about 5000 Ohms.

Thanks for responses and apologies for taking so long with mine.
I cut off about 10mm on the coil sides to get rid of a bit of the corrosion while I try to sort out my carb problem.
I clean the carbs and replace plug but after about 50km I'm back to 3cyl running and bad plug on no.1.:bang head:
