Warning about Vmax Forum.net
This is my first post since my resignation. Reason being, I find that I must warn people about Vmaxforum.net.
I went there after I left here by order of my wife for the simple reason that I love my Vmax so much, I wanted to be a part of something somewhere.
The admin over there sells T-shirts. His name is Buster Hymen. He announced that he was set up with PayPal for ordering T-shirts through his site.
Much as I did with VMOA, I jumped on board immediately. I ordered a T-shirt and paid 20 bucks for it. That was on the 11th of this month. I had said that I would love to be wearing it when I went to deals gap on the 25th.
He then told me that it would take 6 to 10 days for it to arrive as he was in Canada. I didn't mind that at all. It should have arrived in plenty of time. I wasn't worried in the least. I got my Paypal confirmation of my purchase, posted here in it's entirety:

Now then, after that, I waited...and waited. Nothing ever showed up. On Wednesday the 23rd, I sent a private message to Buster asking where my shirt was, that I haven't received it and what was going on. I got no reply. On Thursday the 24th, I sent another message asking the same thing and got no reply. Later that day, pretty pissed off I don't mind telling you all, I posted on the main forum about it and told him the PM thing wasn't working and to answer my damn question and that I would be really pissed off if he didn't answer me right there.
His answer?
He banned me from posting. He disabled my ability to send any PM's and warned me that I had broken the rules of the site.
Right. Now, none of this EVER happened until I posted on the main site. When I did that, he replied to my SECOND PM and said that, "I shipped it on the 13th. I don't know why you don't have it by now."
The 13th was a Sunday, folks. Do any of you know anybody that ships ANYTHING on a SUNDAY?!
I don't.
I then tried to reply to his PM, but that was all disabled. I couldn't. I waited a day to see if it was just some sort of fluke, and it wasn't. I still couldn't. So I tried to post a message that said this:
OK, you'll no doubt delete this and ban me. I've been looking since Sunday night to send a PM, but guess what? I have no buttons anymore to reply to or send a PM. They have all disappeared. Did it ever occur to you to give me a tracking number or something like that so I could see for myself what happened? No?
I guess since you "warned me" about not asking a question about a shirt sold by this site by the operator of this site because I never received it and I haven't been able to get PM's to work right and have no idea what the hell is going on, I'll give you my little warning:
I'm calling AMEX tomorrow evening to report fraud.
Here's his response to that:
I don't delete messages or ban people because they are upset. What I try to do is resolve their issue(s) .
I don't know what the issue is with your PMs, but you obviously are receiving them since you quoted the last PM I sent you. As for the "warning" I sent you, anyone that posts like that would get the same warning. Even in your post you knew it should have been a PM but you posted it anyways. Show some maturity. No one wants to see or hear about personal issues on the forum, that is what PMS are for. If there is an issue with the delivery of your shirt or something with the forum, then just send me a PM.
I already told him I can't. There are no buttons like there used to be for "Send new message" or "reply to this message". They're all gone.
Gee...since he's admin of the site, what do YOU think happened?
Then he said this:
You can report whatever you want, but I have the receipt with your address on it from the Post Office. I deliver enough items through the Post Office that they can verify I mailed the shirt and they have a CCTV system that records 24/7 and, as I have already inquired about this, they can and will pull video records to confirm a parcel drop off. I don't know why you insist that I am ripping you off. I'm not, and there is better ways to handle this.
My original post asked for a tracking number or something. He gave none. He offered none. He's got a receipt, but what the hell does that mean? I've got a receipt from Kroger...does that mean I shipped you a part or a shirt or anything else?
No. It doesn't.
He is a theif of the highest order. He is a liar and a cheat. He is NOT to be trusted. If you even THINK of doing business with that man or that site, DON'T.
If he can't deliver a simple T-shirt and bans you and bars you from any and all activity because TWO WEEKS LATER you STILL haven't received it, then guess what?
He's a damned liar.
Be warned.
Tom
