Does anyone know the length and size of the little screw that holds the tripmeter knob on on a 97 Vmax? Lost mine and the dealer can not find it!

Cant remember of hand when i broke mine but i got it fixed , got an end plastic welded to it so it would screw back in . The old Yamaha ones do fit it early to mid 80s models .....

The knob isn't broken, just need to know the size of the missing screw. The dealer did not show the little screw at all, but if I could get the size I could get one and run it in. It is so small I am afraid of stripping it with the wrong size!
