Hi, I wondered if someone could help me. I have a switch on my bars which has standard boost, boost off and boost on (all of the time even from stand still) but the later has stopped working.
I've traced the wires back from the switch(and tested the switch which is ok) and one of the wires goes into a round(sandy coloured) potted unit which had 12vdc +and- onto it and the return wire goes to the Grey wire and into the V-boost computer, Can I do away with this round unit and wire my switch to put +12v straight onto the grey wire or onto servo?

Thanks for any info
it's a 97 vmx1200

That little 'cheesecake' thing looks like what I had, believe it is a T-Boost set up that allows boost activation at 3k, 6k or off....I eliminated the whole thing.

There's a link about it on 'VMax Outlaw' which might help
