I've seen harley's with the badges on the tank advertised as hondas, yamahas, ect. You'd be shocked how many people have absolutely no idea what the hell they own. Years answering the phone at a marina parts counter taught me that. Regularly people would ring up and be unable to even tell me what brand their boat is. Uhh....it's white, with a gray stripe. Gee thanks, that really narrows things down.

The upswing is that if you turn up and go along with it, you can sometimes score awesome deals on stuff.
