My 2001 max now surges violently and backfires loudly at 85mph. I had a rusted tank that I replacwed with a clean one and soon after I started getting backfiring like crazy. Yes I did change out the fuel filter and so far I have shotgunned her about 6 times. Now she only does it at 85, starts up easily, idles great and has excellent pick up speed. I have carbs from Sean and just recently added the front two cop's, they are connected to the proper plugs. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, SLee
