Went for a ride to dinner on Christines bike to listen to her new pipes. Good thing she did not feel like riding tonight & rode with me because it poured on us on the way back & she does not like riding in the rain. It actually felt kind of good tonight.

Yes , that was wrong of you. You should have given her your bike and bought a later model all chromed out (Pimp Style).

I changed out a water temp sensor. Tweaked my carbs to lean it out a little on the bottom end, then synced them. Fired up the AutoCAD and started working more on a nitrous and intake design.
Cool ! I might be getting in touch with you before long & getting a little advice on nitous if you dont mind.

Superbike bars, and bar end mirrors installed.
Took it on a short ride, and boy, I wish I had gotten them on earlier. The difference is astounding
The superbike bar puts the wrist in a much more comfortable position giving you more control over the bike, want to be more astounded try the 2 inch pivoting risers, they transform your riding experience & max will suddenly handle much better, the more your elbows are bent the more relaxed you'll find yourself gripping the grips & the more natural leaning, counter steering becomes & easier tighter turning becomes.

LOL I think yours has engine work & the nitrous is a ways out have to pay for some other things first a & make some more cash.

Rode down to Holter lake. The highway bits and the beginning part of the road out there were good, but once I got into the park proper it was a nightmare to keep up with my friend. The roads were horrible, and it was slow going with campers pulling in front of me in the middle of a turn.

My swing arm clear coat had 48 hrs. Of cure time. I took It off the coat hanger hook and carefully pressed in new bearing races. I hung it back up and turned around and crash, bang, bing. The hook had straightened out and the swing arm was all dinged up. So wet sanding, priming, and more sanding. Bleepity bleep bleep. Maybe tomorrow.
Fixed my signal light switch, well, pulled it apart and cleaned it anyhow. Now I can turn right legally... installed the speedo cup finally, pretty much the last part to go on to make it complete. There are still signs of it having been dropped but for the most part it is good to go.

anyways my maxgasser fits and looks kick ass...... thanks rick you did another wicked job, fit and finish is great...... now what color for V2? hahahahha i'll get back to you on that.
i'll post some pics when i get my camera back :bang head: trust me it looks wicked, cant wait to go for a ride. next im waiting on usps for more parts to fix the bike.

Went to Hooters in Lansing Michigan, not much happening there. There were a couple Busa's that wnted tovmatch up, so three passes later the Police rolled in. She looked looked like that one cop you always see in porno's , sothat was,'t sobad gettin a stirn talking to. Also noticed some "BANGIN" on the stearing head. Got hpme and wrenched it down a little bit, maybe another 1/4 turn, not sure how that happened. I suppose when I get the new progressive shocks this week I will actualy use a torque wrench to set the stearing head bolt.
by the way, has anyone ever ran 40+ PSI on the metzler ME880's in the front? I wiegh in at 200 lbs and sometimes run my kid on the back, so there is another 100lbs. nlooking for what everyone with ME880'srunnin front and rear.

I ran 38 in front 41 in rear. If you go to metzler's web site they recommend a few extra pounds in the 880's. As I remember it. Check it out for yourself.

I always run with recommended tire pressure stamped on tire with no ill effects..........

Finished up with the tune-up. put a shine on it and went for a little ride to check things out. Needless to say... Perfect. nice sound and power everywhere. Loving that Morley kit and Kerker combo. Now I'm all set for this year's Red Cross Ride for the Red this saturday.
