What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

I took my new to me '89 on its maiden voyage with my GF. I've wanted one for close to 15 years. Now I'm thinking "Why didn't I get one sooner?!"

Yup,

Although being spaced further apart, there hasn't been a month where either myself or father haven't found something either missing or broke. But, the broke stuff if getting spaced out further and further so that's a plus. The other thing I've been noticing is burn marks on things. When I came back up here one of the first things I noticed was all the fire extinguishers were spent, with the exception of the Halon in the garage.

I knew he was a firebug, he got busted for that a couple of times. But I didn't know he was lighting fires inside the house as well. Lucky it didn't get burned down.
 
Morley foot pegs

On other's advice when I asked about foot peg options, I got in touch with Sean Morley. He had several choices, but I went with a set where he takes stock engine guards and stock foot pegs and welds them together. Then powder coats it all black. Since they're stock pegs they fold up out of the way and stay put because of the spring, just like the driver's and passenger's. And since they're the same I think it fits in with the bike nice. As of this afternoon I've ridden about 500 miles and I have to say it adds to the comfort when you're forced to endure straight highway miles. Where I live I can usually avoid that! Anyway, a thumbs up to Sean. I'll attach some pics.

I was lucky enough to have my bike dyno tuned by two guys that know how to tune a vmax on a dyno. It was the funest wrench day i have ever had. Hell just watching the two of them wrench togather was fun. It was even more fun listening to them try to make up each others mind on what adjustment to do next. I got to see my vmax go from running good to running perfect. Im not saying its the fastest but i can tell you its one of the best running and im sure its faster than it was. What a cool day it was and another big thanks to them.......VMAX-MIKE

I see you have a MaxGasser seat. How are you liking it?
 
Add new blue lights to the front of the bike.

Put on a set of bar end mirrors and a Morley Muscle seat
 
Took a break from some design work and grabbed a 2", three-ring binder.
Then went to the file cabinet and grabbed the bike's file. From there I proceeded to hole punch the purchase paperwork and the aftermarket receipts and put it in the binder.

Then is was back to the computer to finalize my sketches of how I wired the tach, tail sections in a section, then instructions for the T-boost, Morley's jet kit, frame braces and Dyna 3000 in another section. In another section there is a CD of the repair manual, and Damon's DVD's for the engine and carbs and yet in another section is a list of what parts will fit what, (ie. turn signals in the tail section come from a scooter) and part numbers.

I'm shooting for a one stop reference book for the bike to keep things organized.
