HELP compression test, and possible other issues

This one is a gamble It doesn't look like a flood bike to me. My opinion on the water issue starting with most likely to least: The water pump seals may be bad The cranckcase breather assembly may need to be rebuilt. If the seals in it go bad, oil and water will communicate It may have blown...

    $650 1200 VMax Barely Cranks

Any weird noise while turning over? If the stator cover is installed without a gasket, the stater clutch gears will bind and the bike will have symptoms similar to what you describe.

    New Vmax Owner

I've never heard of a revzilla cam for the vmax. Revzilla is a parts dealer but they don't make/sell vmax cams. There are a few places that did sell cams but, who knows what you really have there. There is a Stage 7 carburetor jet kit made by dynojet. That is a very popular mod. Its quite...

Vmax running on 3 (or 2??) cylinders

Per Dman, and I agree, "buy some 7mm copper core Ignition wire by the foot (about $1-2 per foot) and re-use the stock caps or get 4 NGK SB05F caps" Clean up that coils. Test primary and secondary resistance. If not passing, check the for sale forum here for good, used units.

    Possible VMAX noob here

    1. This site doesn't have a 5 minute primer course on the Gen2 vmax. This site was originally Gen1 focused. The starvmax site was Gen2. That site shut down. Folks have been slowly migrating over here and adding content. 2. There are no major differences from 09 to 2020 except color. If...

    Front fork rebuild

You'll need fork seals, and fork oil at the minimum. Pending the state of what you find you may need bushings, the snap ring that sits on top of the seals, and dust boots. Tear down video Rebuild video

    Vmax Spotted

In a cartoon movie. My kids used to watch Barnyard all the time when they were little. Last night, my wife decided to put it on and make the kids watch it as a family in remembrance of the good old days. I spotted a vmax in one of the scenes and had to share.

    Piston Hole Identification - Reassembly

Most folks don't have the knowledge, or tooling to perform measurements that would be precise enough to determine which piston came from which cylinder (unless you have some major wear issues happening). It would be nice to put them back in their original position but you probably won't be able...

    Bike dead, battery charged.

I'd start by charging the battery again and then having it load tested.
