What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Nothing really to do on the Archangel, so like it's paint, I redone the V-axe for a third time. This time the body and neck was painted gloss black, the top, head stock along with the covers for the electrics, got a covering in carbon fiber. The hardware got black chrome treatment. The "Vmax"...

    Ethanol In Fuel

Up here in the summer, there was some complaints about it. Loss performance, corrosion etc... about the same type of complaints people have, down in the lower 48. But when winter rolled around and the interior's temps started to drop, things started to not start, run poorly and flat out **** the...

    Ethanol In Fuel

We don't use it up here. They tried it a long time ago, it's **** fuel for our climate. So, they ditched it and never looked back.

I have lost most of my trust in medical personnel

I've been stuck in an MRI a couple of times. No fun at all. On the third try, they ended up sending me to a different imaging center that had an open-air MRI. The thing was a Cadillac to be in.

    Gen I on tv today

You have to love how it changed to another bike when he was riding it and what was he using a screw driver on? Prying off old spark plug caps? :rofl_200:

    Drag racing coming home

I agree, we're going to have to have a little chit chat. I think it's going to have to have a Vmax bullet and not the regular inline/V-twins. Next month, I'll have 6 weeks of externship and there will be a pretty good chance I'll get hired shortly after, then that happens and I get my budget...

    Interesting frame

That second one is a steelheart frame, I was looking at them a while back. I kind of like them, but I imagine it would be hard on the wallet.

    Interesting frame

That's what I'm thinking. Always have to take my hat off for those who try new concepts.

    anyone tried a "wrap"

I found the grafix on the internet, picked the biggest, high rez version, then I took it to one of the local shops that does wraps. $130 and I was good to go. They're awesome at what they do. The tank looked sweet, you had to get pretty close to see that it was a wrap. I had allot of nice...

    Drag racing coming home

That was a fall event, so I'm thinking around 55-65 deg. That was this past summer when the Jet cars came out to play. The tank was cool, but the "Tow Mater" jet was the kid's favorite. That would be tempting :) Once I start getting some $ put aside, I'll have a better idea of which way I'm...

    anyone tried a "wrap"

I had a wrap a while back in one of the configurations of my bike. It held up real well.

    Interesting frame

I'm wondering if it's finished. On the other hand, it has a plate hanging off of it. With anything I've built, the license plate was the last thing that went on. It looks like it has some street/strip potential.

    Interesting frame

I'm on the fence on this build, but I do admire the work. :clapping:

    Drag racing coming home

Nah, there is a river right behind the emergency shutdown area. So if you make it past the kitty litter and the brush, your going swimming :)

    RANT... ******* snowplow drivers!

That's about ****** up. Good thing you came out of it without an ambulance ride.

    Drag racing coming home

The borough approved construction for the racing lion's club to build a new local strip. So in about three years the need to drive to Palmer's Alaska Raceway Park to race will be limited (It's a great place to race, scenic, loud, awesome people). Looks like I'm graduating at the right...
