    I've seen 7mm copper core cable at NAPA, I doubt that you'd find it with the chain-store auto suppliers. If you run into a bind with finding it, also try a marine supply, or a good industrial supply house . Copper isn't used with anything as far as street automotive, other than competition...

    I use a 7mm copper core lead with a good silicone jacket. The NGK plug caps are recommended too. 5000 ohm resistance is stock, and most of the NGK plug caps are the same with resistance. This will give you the same specs as right off the showroom floor, and the silicone leads will last forever...
