    i think you'll find anyone that does that does radial rear/bias front not the other way around like is being suggested.

    memory is fuzzy but i feel like i remember the same thing on my '03, that it didnt' seem fully seated, but i pressed it as hard as i dared and concluded that there was a lip in there or something and it was sitting as it should.

    that sounds perfectly good to me, although there is no a/f curve? as sean once told me, get the a/f curve dead on and thats the best you're going to get as far as HP/tq.

    you can call corporate yamaha and ask if that is the engine that came with that frame. I just had to do that with another yamaha bike.

    glad to hear it, for the same price i'd take my wheel off, i just don't trust folks anymore, hah. keep an eye on your rear diff too, could have (although most likely didn't )damage something in there being torqued too high. drain the oil in a few hundred miles makes sure theres no shavings...

    +1. i'm not sure i agree with steve on 30 ft lbs, but definitely can be lower than the factory spec. that being said there shuldnt' be a huge noticable difference in spin-ability between 30 and 80 ft lbs. as its just more pressure on the 'inner races'. if it gets worse as you go from 30 ->...
