    Is it worth it?

Just saw this is in Pgh. BigoldYamaha, pm me the info of where this is and I'll go check it out. I learned alot about what makes these bikes worth buying or not. Especially if I ride mine in and tell them its not worth much they might sell it cheap. I'm curious to see just how bad it is anyway.

    Thinking about it...

If you wanna take a step down in the speed department then the Vrod might be a good choice. But they can't hang with Vmax's. I've enjoyed EVERY time I pull up at a light and the Vrod rider thinks they are fast but in about 2 seconds they realize they bit off a bit more than they thought and...

Bill Warner Has Died in a Crash

I talked with Bill a few times and he definetly was into anything fast. My condolences to his family and the Vmax world loses another Legend. Wow, this is a very rough week in Vmaxland. RIP Bill, may your records stand for a very long time! As I'm sure they will! Godspeed Bill, We'll all miss you.

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Got the new gears and chain setup in that Jedi made for me. Damn, even though I can probably do it blindfolded it was a LOT of work. The biggest thing was prepping the case after the little incident that happened. But new bearings, seals and a thorough resurfacing of the inside of the case made...

    - Jon Cornell Has Died -

RIP JON, it saddens me to see this. I met Jon not long after buying my bike and we became friends to where I even went to his shop and home and installed biometric locks at both locations. I even played with his kids after installing the locks on his house as well as met his wife Heather. We...

    where does this go?

Someone mentioned Starter clutch Bill, that does look like one of the springs holding one of three pucks (so to say) but I couldn't imagine that coming out. But you did have stator problems last year didn't you? That's the only 2 places I can think of that I've seen a spring like that. Good luck.

    where does this go?

That does look like the spring that pushes the plunger in the clutch master cyl. But if its from your carbs I'm at a loss cause I don't have stock carbs.

    Wow pics

Although my setup is not common, the surprise of it is what caught me off guard. But this has been an ongoing issue since MadMax built it. You can rest a little easier in that stock swingarms and shafts don't run through the case like in those pics. But anythings possible! Even chain drive can...

    Wow pics

That would be ideal, it would serve as an inspection window as well as letting you see the gears as well. How about once we know this is sound we could explore the possibilities. I'll tear it back down this winter if you want and send the whole setup to you Sean or whatever you want me to do...

    Wow pics

I agree Garrett, this looks like the meanest sprocket ever made and looks so cool I almost hate to hide it in the case! Lol, I especially like the fact and feel ALOT better that its like the whole old design was literally pitched and a REAL professional built it. I really also am amazed how fast...

    Wow pics

Thank you sir, your talent is unbelievable. I've known quite a few fabricators in my day but never one as good as you. We are all very lucky to have your talent in this forum. Just let me know if there's anything I need to do before, during or after I install it. And what type of lubrication and...

    I am getting close.

Looking awesome George, and I totally agree about Sean. He's beyond belief as far as going above and beyond helping anyone here out. Most of our bikes wouldn't be half of what they are if it wasn't for him.

    Suzuki.... WTF

I see what Jedi means, KJ, you should photoshop chicken feet as a center stand. Lol and you can't say the front of that fairing doesn't look like a beak!
