Have you looked at the TPS and APS values in the diagnostics mode? One of those sensors being bad could cause a non-start issue.

So it almost sounds like the injectors aren't firing but you should have a code for that. Also doesn't make sense that you smelled heavy fuel while trying to start the bike, because that sounds more like a spark issue. I'm assuming you checked the fuel injection fuse?

Is it stock? No Power Commander or other fuel controller installed?

Looks like the crankshaft sensor is part of the stator assembly? I would look over the connector/coupler near the fuel tank very closely before replacing anything.

Very rarely, haven't seen one in a while. If I end up taking the blower off my bike I will go back to the stock rim. I'll give you a heads up. Just don't start hoping for that.....I really want to get the blower dialed in. :)

My rim is a Yamaha wide wheel. It was in their accessory catalog years ago. No longer available unfortunately. You should speak to Sean Morley here on the forum, he is now supplying 240 rims.

The crankshaft position sensor is behind the stator under the left side crank cover. There is also a coupler somewhere near the gas tank. Here is the manual. Open it in adobe and do a search for "crankshaft position sensor" and scroll through the results...

Doesn't have to......it is a little easier if it does. Just mark it with a marker so you get in in the same position on the spline. If this is the first time the cover is off you probably won't need a new gasket, if it comes apart clean. I had mine off 3 times with the original gasket still in...

You need a wide rim for a 240 tire, it will not mount on the stock rim.

That's what my notes say as well. I bought a bigger pump for my supercharged VMax from Summit Racing, it's a Walbro GSS342BX. I never installed it though because the stock pump had enough oomph for the job. I only installed bigger injectors. It's not a direct "drop in" but it fits.
