2022 MT-10 answer to no more MAX??

I only done about 300 miles last year total bike riding, but would love to try this piece of kit out for a couple of thousand miles. Any bike I’ve owned I take to near limits so I can feel at one with the bike at all speeds and situations, but I think it would be the end of my days if I dared...

2022 MT-10 answer to no more MAX??

It's special from my point of view that the more I look at it, the more I like it. Very few bikes have done that for me. The G1 & G2 captured me that way. That engine with water & oil cooling, and all that power to weight advantage would probably sit at any speed or conditions you could throw...

Hope u get better, I’ve had op’s on both knees and can say look after yourself first. Think of long term health and health and safety mate.

    greased bowl o-rings and diaphragms???????????

I've always veered away from using Hylomar Blue on thin elastomer seals as the instructions do not venture into that subject, some people have used it in that area with great success. So using it is more than likely okay for thin elastomer seals, it's definitely okay on metals. Looking at the...

    greased bowl o-rings and diaphragms???????????

You are correct about the person using the blue substance. It was developed for RR when I was a kid working for them. It’s called Hylomar Blue, I use it also to seal many different things. Metal to metal seal is excellent when petroleum is around. But not too sure it’s the right product for...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

Just thought I would share this funny mad English guy on guitar. I'll play; oh fu*king hell, ah, ooh, help!

I would imagine now is the time for you to do all your coolant changes, and give away as much as you can..............Since Cumbria is flooded!

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

I thought they were the same, but no, I looked them up and there is a difference between them. Apparently distilled is purer water than deionised It's an education on here for sure. I've been using distilled water! Although I doubt for the purposes of keeping a cooling system clean the two...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

👍 I always use distilled water also, it lasts allot longer than tap water and keeps the water jacket and radiator etc nice and clean for years. I changed out my car system a few months ago, and at 32 litres total it was still worth 16 litres of cost using distilled water. It was about £3.59...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

Very polite and supporting as usual Mr P. My 2 year old granddaughter was not so polite, it was unprintable. I had to hold back when I put here comment up earlier. 🤣

Not half. Life's too short, the seasons were changing. :)

I could suggest accetone (out your nail varnish remover kit). Some people use this on radiator cleaning, but not sure if hoses or engine water jacket seals and pump could stand up to it. You would have to read up about it. It's only a suggestion to start you off on an investigation journey...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

Just FYI, nothing more. I got my two year old granddaughter to proof read your input. She said the line quote 'A richer engine will run cooler than a rich one' was slightly ambiguous. She said that when I told her the qoute 'than a rich one' could have been written 'than a leaner one' she got...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

Okay I'm going to turn the valve 180 deg so the writing is upside down, allowing for normal running mode. Thanks, I could not figure out what the manual was saying. I should have known better about the oil, absolutely condensation needs to be burnt off, and I do long running times with my cars...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

Thanks M_M, I tried to open that link yesterday and would not, I think you only posted it by a couple of seconds though. okay now! Your comment in that link says the plastic valve in the photo is in the 'ON' position for draining, when it is reading left to right (at a squint). So can I assume...

That sums that one up. 🤔 ..........😓..........🤔...........😭...........🤔.....................🤷‍♂️.........I'm still thinking of the final orientation of the plastic valve with regards to printed wording on it. It appears then you can bypass the t.stat whilst running the bike...

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

That makes allot of sense, I never thought about it much at the time as I had the entire cooling system stripped. On kinda the same subject; I still think the VMax manual is ambiguous as to where the final running plastic plug positioning is. Another couple of photo's below, with some chalk...
