Mine doesnt work after it sits for a while but if I take it to 6 grand it somehow rights it self ,but if I dont when I put it away and turn the key on and off I do not hear the whirr sound, just a light buzzing sound.

I noticed when I ride my V max that when I start it up ,I do not hear the V boost servo but ,when I get it to six grand after going on a ride and shut it down and turn the key one click I hear the servo working .I have to run it up to Six grand to hear it after my ride or It wont make the...

I usually ride about 10-20 miles at a time and,back and forth to work is 9 miles round trip.I have been getting 30 m.p.g. and wasnt very happy but i love the power so I figure thats the trade off.I went on a 200 mile ride this past weekend and was running anywhere from 45-65m.p.h.to my surprise...

Started up the Max the other morning and I noticed it was backfiring a little with the choke on and I saw small flames inside my 4into one exhaust.Has this happened to anyone else here?.It goes away as soon as the bike warms up.:confused2:

I still hear no servo movement .All I hear is a buzzing sound for 7 seconds and it stops.I still think the V boost works cause when I get to 6 grand she goes like a bat out of hell.

I have that set up too but,my wire to the main 30amp fuse still gets pretty hot and I dont understand why?.

Thanks !.I was wondering how far I had to go to put a thicker wire in there ,but I guess I would have to replace alot.I guess I couild replace the fuse with a 30amp autoresetting and wire it from the pos side to the fuse and from the fuse to the crimp with 12-14 gauge wire.

Can someone chime in here to let me know where the wires to the 30amp fuse run to and from ?. Thanks !.

Even without the boost ,these bikes are still scary.

I checked my fuses and looked around and found nothing .Took it out ,it ran great ,got back home and everything was back to normal. Go figure!.

Well, I went out yesterday and got a big bottle of stabil and for 11.00 it will treat 80 gallons .I have used it in my lawnmower and snow blower for at least 10 years so ,I guess it should work for m V max.I put my Max away for the season in October so when its cold outside I know gas stays...

Ok !,went out for a spin and everything is running great !.Now after shutting it down my V boost is making the normal servo sound it makes and the sputter popping sound it used to make is gone for now.I better get some Garlic or a Rabbits foot and put it around the handle bars.

Ok !.I owned that bike and it is 150lbs lighter than the Max.I like to be sitting on my Max when I take it off the centerstand .I have total control and I can center it as I roll it forward off the stand.As for getting it on I tried the video and I weight 220 and am 6feet tall and it is not...

A little dab of JB weld would seal that up .

It is a full exhaust .I hope I am picking up a few more ponies with the exhaust and the stage 1 jet kit and the K&N filter.I have heard a well tuned CBX and a Honda Valkeri and they do sound sweet.

I went on a ride a few years ago and a coworker pulls up on a Max with a Supertrapps exhaust and I was bitten.My max I own now has a two brothers racing 4 into 1 exhaust and my bike sounds like a v8 hot rod and the sound turns heads.

I put a small piece of wood under the side stand so the bike is almost straight up and push down with my left foot and pull up on the rear grab handle at the same time.it works for me.
