I found a manual that says dot 4.Can I use 3 or 4?.

Hi guys I am replacing my reserviour caps and noticed my Brake and Clutch fluid is a little low.Can I use dot 3 brake fluid or do I need something special?.I had to ruin one of my hold down screws and they are 2.00 for one at Bike bandit .com.Where can I get bike parts cheaper than that?.

Hi guys.I bought two new chrome reservoir caps for my max and I was wondering am I going to need new gasgets to replace the old ones or if I am carefull can I use the old ones?.

Should I go to thicker oil as the bike ages maybe?.

Hi guys,I just put a new oil pressure gage on my max and when she is warmed up at the tach at a grand the pressure is 10psi and when I rev it to about 5 grand it about 65 psi .Do those sound like good numbers?.

I did ,the ballast resistors and it works great .They are plug and play .Got them off of ebay.

Hey guys I am thinking of putting a Bad Boy horn on my max and was wondering if anyone here has one on their bike.Harbor freight has them for 33.00 with tax and 20% off coupon.

I did a little searching and if you remove the two front scoops and the electonics panel on the left side and the shroud on the right ignition switch you van access each plug in .The left side is easier than the right .Shame they couldnt put all four coils in one spot and run the wires from...

Sounds good to me but did you see where the plugs in the front are ?.They are not real easy to get to .I have both scoops and the airbox off and now! I can see the front coils and plugs.

Re: Vmax Fan Control Switch I did the same thing to mine and it works great and you can run the fan for a few min to cool the motor when you shut it off.
