I noticed the same thing last weekend. I have set mine to 3.25 turns out for now, planned to check the plugs this weekend to see if I am close enough. It would be nice to know what the deal is though.

Shimmed needles this weekend, clip on the second from the blunt end plus a shim washer. Installed Mark's 4-2 and Morely's jet kit Monday, but had a mid range stumble. Only had time for a short test ride and it seems right now. Need to check my plugs and ensure all is well.

Got my Mark's pipes and jet kit installed today. As everyone knows, it sounds awesome. Unfortunatly didn't have time to get a look at the spark plugs after the test ride. Hopefully I can check them when I get home from work tomorrow. Thank you Sean for the quick tips.

You don't need a kit, go to autozone and pick up a toggle switch, splice in under the factory fan switch, umder the right side scoop, mount the switch where ever you want, but the plastics by the neck are the popular choice

I agree with you on the smaller grips, that is part of the reason I like the progrips. With the price of the pro grips it would probably be worth it just to try those first.

+1 on the Pro Grips, I have the 699 and previously had the 719. Both are good, but they are a smaller OD, so that might not work for you. Bonus is they are pretty cheap.

Morgan carb tune came in Thurs, finally got to give it a shot. I sure hope that is close enough, I was suprised about the noticeable difference in sound, sounded smoother.

I see alot of what appear to be rusted bolts. And both master cylinders appear to have a case of the crusties. Those are big things for such a price.

Put my new black superbike bars on, with my new ebay bar end mirrors. I didn't get to ride it yet, but I will ride it to work tomorrow.

Got my carbon fiber scoops and installed them. Also got a new Metzler on the back end. Last one got a gash in it, but I had road hazard so it only cost $100.

Yeah I have oil residue in the same place. Never been able to find the source, but it is never enough to cause problems. It doesn't even drip, just shows residue.

So if one is running a marks system and has no cat, then diesel oils might actually be a good choice.

Rode to work this morning. First ride since my bike was knocked over. Still missing a mirror and waiting on other parts, but it is ridable and I missed it. It was a wonderful ride.

Okay so I am gonna ask the dumb question here. So when yall are listing these oils, are these motorcycle specific oils or are you running regular old oil like I put in my truck. I used Yamalube up until now. But screw that if I can get away with something cheaper and not from the stealership.
